Thon Hotel Opera Oslo

As low-budget travelers, we loved the convenience of the hotel's location right next to the train station. The fast train from the airport was not only cheaper than a taxi but also saved us a significant amount of time, especially during rush hour. The free internet on the train allowed us to download city maps and guides effortlessly. We also appreciated the ease of using our credit card on the train entry scanner. The hotel's bar offered an excellent light meal, and the breakfast spread was impressive. Our room was modern and well-appointed, with a large desk, comfortable seating, and a small balcony. The spacious bathroom worked well, and the view from the 10th floor provided a beautiful glimpse of Oslo. the hotel proved to be a great base for exploring the city.

Best aspects - the quality of the room was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the breakfast offered a great variety with a fresh squeezed orange machine, which was a delightful addition. the location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the heart of the city and conveniently close to key attractions.
